Welcome to the Western Branch orchestra community. Whether your student is beginning orchestra at Jolliff Middle School or continuing at Western Branch High School, WBOPA is here to support students and families.
Families can get involved by attending meetings, volunteering at events, supporting fundraisers, and staying connected with orchestra activities throughout the school year.

Western Branch Orchestras Parents Association
About WBOPA
The Western Branch Orchestras Parents Association is a nonprofit association made up of parent volunteers who support orchestra students and directors at Western Branch High School and Jolliff Middle School.
WBOPA supports performances, trips, activities, fundraising, resources, and other opportunities that enhance the orchestra experience for students.
Parents, families, and community members are encouraged to participate and help support our orchestra programs.
Our Mission
Support and promote our orchestra programs, directors, and students while helping provide resources and opportunities that strengthen students' musical education and appreciation of the arts.

Fall Flower Sale Pickup Day
Student and parent volunteers are needed on:
Saturday, October 10, 2026
Volunteer Shifts:
7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Volunteers will help receive, organize, and distribute plants during the WBOPA Fall Flower Sale.
Students may be able to receive community service credit for volunteering. Students should confirm eligibility with the school, club, honor society, or organization requiring the hours.

Future Flower Sale Coordinator
WBOPA is looking for someone interested in learning how the flower fundraiser is organized and managed.
The current Flower Chair has successfully coordinated the fundraiser for several years and is ready to begin passing the responsibility to another volunteer.
The new volunteer would shadow the current Flower Chair during the Fall 2026 Flower Sale to learn the process.
The goal is for that volunteer to be prepared to help lead or take over coordination of the Spring 2027 Flower Sale.

You do not need to make a year-long commitment. Even helping with one event makes a difference.
