On top of consistent superior performance ratings at the Virginia Band & Orchestra Directors Association (“VBODA”) district assessment, Western Branch High School Orchestra has also had a string of awards and accolades within the past few years.
2024 – Superior Performance, Gold Award, and Strings Overall Champion at Music in the Parks Kings Dominion
2023 – Superior Performance, Silver Award, Top Performing Chamber Ensemble, 2nd Place Overall Orchestra at Walt Disney World’s Festival of Music
2022 – Superior Performance, Esprit De Corps Award, and Silver Award at Busch Gardens’ Festival of Music
