CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
The Western Branch High School Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble made up of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The Chamber Orchestra is WBHS’s newest string orchestra offering. The purpose of the Chamber Orchestra class is to prepare students for the vocational side of the chamber orchestra at an advanced level. This auditioned ensemble meets twice a month after school. The curriculum includes numerous performances at unique and more intimate settings, including receptions, weddings, banquets, memorial services, etc. This ensemble performs classical chamber music without a conductor and learns how to set up performance jobs.
